The Guardians of the Galaxy are back and, this time, they’re embarking on one last adventure together. Disney just dropped the trailer of Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3, which will mark director and actor James Gunn’s departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently, Disney released their Holiday special version of the film, where the guardians went on to find some Christmas spirit. While we do see some familiar faces and some new ones in the third part, what we know for sure is that the guardians aren’t going out without a bang!

The Timeline
The film is set a few months after the Infinity War and right after their Christmas celebration on planet earth.
Gamora Is Back
In the trailer, we do see a glimpse of Gamora, so it’s safe to say that she didn’t get wiped out with Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. But, plot twist: this Gamora isn’t the same one Peter Quill loved. She does gain the trust of the Guardians though.
New Faces
Will Poulter joins the OG cast of the Guardians Of The Galaxy as Adam Warlock, which was first teased in the post-credit scene of Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2. The Maze Runner actor had to go through an intense transformation to take on the role of Warlock.
Release Date
The film will be a part of MCU’s phase 5 and is all set to have a theatrical release on May 5, 2023.
