Henry Cavill is all set to get back into his superman suit for Man of Steel 2. Cavill, who was last seen as Superman in the 2017 film, Justice League, will be back for the sequel of Man of Steel after almost 10 years after making his debut as Clark Kent. This news comes in since the release of DC Comics’ latest film, Black Adam, which has a post-credit scene that hints at the return of the British actor as the iconic superhero.

While DC Comics has not shared official information about the film, it is said that the top management at Warner Bros, David Zaslav, Pam Abdy and Michael De Luca have shown their desire to bring back Cavill as Superman. The Enola Holmes actor left the DC Universe after the exit of Zack Snyder, who directed Man of Steel. Produced by Charles Roven, the film is currently in the early stages and is said to not release anytime before 2024 or 2025.

Cavill is also gearing up for his upcoming film, Enola Holmes 2, where he plays the role of the genius detective, Sherlock Holmes. The actor stars alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter. The film will be released on November 4, 2022, on Netflix.
