Remember how we listed five reasons to watch Marvel’s latest TV show She-Hulk: Attorney At Law? Turns out there’s a big sixth reason that we need to add to the list pronto!

Rapper and self-proclaimed nerd Megan Thee Stallion is going to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut with the show.

You heard that right!

The rapper confirmed the exciting news in a recent interview with The Cut, revealing that she’s going to be joining the cast of the show, alongside Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, and Jameela Jamil.

Deadline questioned actor Josh Segarra, who plays attorney Augustus ‘Pug’ Pugliese on the show, about Megan’s appearance on the show and he shared that she would be part of an upcoming episode where she would become involved in a case that is being handled by his character.

“A gentleman is being catfished by somebody that lives in another universe, let’s say. Another world,” said Segarra, confirming that the catfisher is pretending to be the rapper, “So he thinks he’s dating one person, and he’s not, so we need to help him figure that out.”

This tracks with reports claiming that Megan will be playing a fictionalised version of herself in a recurring cameo on the show. It has also been rumoured that stuntwoman Marche Day would be standing in for some of Megan’s scenes, which could mean that the rapper’s character is going to flex some action chops on-screen.

This could be the first step for the rapper to become a full-fledged actor in her own right. Post this, she is also going to appear in A24’s musical comedy F–king Identical Twins, which also stars comedy icons like Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Mullally.

So is it time to rechristen MCU as Megan Thee Stallion Cinematic Universe? We think so!
