ARMYs all over the world have not had a moment’s rest ever since the band announced a temporary break from group activities following their ninth anniversary celebrations in June.

When it’s not J-Hope confirming his position as a co-headliner at a major music festival, it’s Jungkook releasing a banger with Charlie Puth without enough warning. J-Hope also released a full-fledged solo album that, in true BTS fashion, broke records almost instantly post its release.

Just when you thought you could take a breath, the group announced the release of their much-anticipated track with producer Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg.

The song, titled ‘Bad Decisions’, will feature the vocal line of the group, AKA Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, along with the rapper and producer.

Blanco shared the news on Twitter with a hilarious video, where he calls the group members and asks them if he could be a part of the band because he really wanted to “sing and dance” and he thinks he can do it. The members immediately reject his application to be the eighth member of BTS but tell him that they can work on a song together instead.

Blanco replies announcing that they’re going to make the best track of the year, which considering the producer’s glowing track record and BTS’ chart-topping tendencies, isn’t a far-fetched claim.

“I’m still pinching myself,” said Blanco, in a statement, “I can’t believe I have a song coming out with Jin, Jimin, V and Jung Kook of BTS and Snoop Dogg. It doesn’t even feel real!”

The producer had hinted at this announcement a few days earlier, with a similar video, this time with Scooter Braun and BTS producer and HYBE founder Bang PD, where he had hinted atasking BTS to work together on a track.

Snoop Dogg had also teased the collab in March when, in an interview with The AV Club, he had admitted that he has something in the works with the Korean band but was tight-lipped about the details.

“I’m going to let them tell you about it,” he said after confirming the collab, “It’s official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s a vibe.”

Both BTS and Blanco shared a detailed schedule for the single’s rollout, including the song’s music video’s release date (August 5) and the teasers and art release as well.

‘Bad Decisions’ would be the first single from Blanco’s upcoming third album which will release later this year.
