After his blockbuster hit film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to star in an action thriller film, Anek. Written and directed by Anubhav Sinha, this will be the director and actor’s second collaboration after their 2019 critically acclaimed film, Article 15.
For his upcoming movie, Khurrana will be seen portraying the role of an undercover cop as he fights a geopolitical rebellion in the North East of India.
The trailer has already garnered massive fanfare with its thrilling plot and action sequences. The movie is all set to release on May 27, 2022. The Vicky Donor actor will be sharing the screen alongside Deeplina Deka, Danny Danzongpa, and Manoj Pahwa. Ayushmann is also gearing up for his next film, Doctor G, where he will be seen playing the role of a male gynaecologist.
