Lady Gaga is back with a brand new single ‘Hold My Hand’ for the highly anticipated film, Top Gun: Maverick. Written and produced by Gaga and BloodPop, the song will be heard in the Top Gun sequel along with some major musical numbers that have been composed by various composers including Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, Harold Faltermeyer, and Lorne Balfe, who has also previously worked on the bacground score for Mission: Impossible Fallout.

Last week, the ‘Rain On Me’ singer dropped a few lyrics on Twitter, teasing fans about the release of her latest love ballad.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Top Gun star was seen at Gaga’s Las Vegas residency on Sunday. The singer even took to Instagram to share a couple of pictures of the two of them and thanked Cruise for coming to the show.

Now, back to the movie. Tom Cruise returns as his iconic character, Pete “Maverick” Mitchel, only this time, he’s training a group of Top Gun graduates for a very special mission that no living pilot has ever seen. As the team prepares themselves for the mission, Maverick finally musters up the courage to confront his deepest fears and the ghosts of his past to finally face the ultimate test. Did anyone else just get chills?

When the first Top Gun released in 1986, we all found ourselves obsessed with ‘Take My Breath Away’. So, will Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’ have the same effect? Let us know what you think on HELLO! India’s Instagram page.
