Which Rom-Com Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac

Reisha Shetty
Junior Digital Writer

If you’re anything like this hopeless romantic, then you’ll agree that romantic comedies play a great role in our lives. Whether you’re feeling loved up, need to be cheered up or are just plain bored, a good rom-com goes a long way! And with so many iconic movies, comes some iconic yet extremely relatable characters that we can’t help but fall in love with.

So, we decided to re-watch all our favourite rom-coms to tell you exactly which rom-com character you are according to your zodiac.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Jamie Rellis in Friends With Benefits

She is bold and she knows exactly what she wants and how she wants it— Jamie Rellis embodies the true Aries spirit. She is funny, smart, and confident and always sticks to what she believes in.

Taurus (April 20–May 20)

Sophie Hall in Letters To Juliet

Like an absolute Taurus, Sophie from Letters To Juliet is kind, helpful, and loves romantic gestures. Blessed with creativity, they are always up to discovering something new and sharing it with the world, which also includes fact-checking!

Gemini (May 21–June 20)

Anna Coleman in Freaky Friday

A comedic masterpiece where the mother and daughter exchange their bodies after a freak accident is exactly the kind of genre a Gemini likes. Much like the Air sign, Anna Coleman feels dual energy within—she’s a young, punk high-schooler one minute and then a law-abiding citizen the next, there is definitely no in-between.

Cancer (June 21–July 22)

Cher Horowitz in Clueless

A true, loyal friend like our fellow Cancerians, Cher Horowitz is the kind of a person who would always go the extra mile for her besties, especially when it comes to acting as their wing gal or giving them impromptu makeovers. Plus, she believes in true love like no one else.

Leo (July 23–August 22)

Margaret Tate in The Proposal

Margaret Tate is the bold boss who will never take no for an answer, even if it comes to convincing her assistant to be her fake fiancé. She’s strong, bold, and hard-hitting in her own ways, but is still a sucker for small gestures, just like you Leo!

Virgo (August 23–September 22)

Sasha Tran in Always Be My Maybe

An absolute perfectionist, even when it comes to finding their one true love, Virgos can relate very well to Always Be My Maybe’s Sasha Tran. Hardworking and determined with a kind heart, Tran always wants the best for her loved ones, and so do you Virgo.

Libra (September 23–October 22)

Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones’ Diary

A person who often finds themselves head over heels in love with someone who gives them their undivided attention can resonate with Bridget Jones so well. With their obsession with finding true love but still making (mostly) terrible dating choices, this character can only remind you of one Zodiac sign (we are looking at you, Libras!).

Scorpio (October 23–November 21)

Kat Stratford in 10 Things I Hate About You

Tough on the outside and soft on the inside, Kat Stratford is exactly how you expect a Scorpio to be. While she has reservations and has her guard up, she has a loyal, sensitive side to her that opens up to the people she trusts, just like this water sign.

Sagittarius (November 22–December 21)

Viola Hastings in She’s The Man

Viola Hastings is the kind of girl who is always up for an adventure, especially when it comes to sneaking into her brother’s school and pretending to be him while she plays football, something that a Sagittarius might just be into. A total risk-taker and someone who wouldn’t shy from a challenge, this is definitely your twin.

Capricorn (December 22–January 19)

Liv Lerner in Bride Wars

Liv Lerner is a go-getter that doesn’t let anything come in her way,—even moving her dream wedding date for her best friend. With someone who’s always had their eyes on the prize, Capricorns can resonate beautifully with Liv Lerner.

Aquarius (January 20–February 18)

Julianne Potter in My Best Friend’s Wedding

An independent soul that cannot be stopped once they’ve made a decision, does that remind you of someone, Aquarius? It is Julianne Potter’s spontaneity that pushes her to fight for her best friend when she finds out that he is getting married, and that same spirit is within you too, Aquarius.

Pisces (February 19–March 20)

Andie Anderson in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

Our resident ‘How To’ girl, Andie Anderson is funny, charming, and a lot of fun to be around, just like our very own Pisces. She always believes in giving her one hundred percent, even if it means she has to fake date a guy for a story. Their creative connection matches so well, we wouldn’t be surprised if Andie turned out to be an out and proud Pisces.
