Recently, Dr Nene took to Instagram to showcase a DIY mango popsicle recipe that has no sugar, artifical colourings or additives of any kind. You can control all elements of this indulgent treat, given that you only need three ingredients and a popsicle molds to make it at home.

Dr Nene’s DIY Mango Popsicle Recipe


  • 1 cup chopped Mango
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Popsicle molds


  • Take one finely chopped Mango.
  • Add the ½ a lemon’s juice, ½ teaspoon chilli powder and 1 cup water to the blended mixture.
  • Next, add a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Blend the mixture to perfection.
  • Add the flesh of ¼ mango to the mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the mix into a popsicle mould.
  • Let it freeze for 20-30 minutes.
  • Demould and dive in.
