Team HELLO!

Gin lovers, are you listening? A weekend-long gin cocktails-based party awaits you!

ICYMI, the biggest gin celebration in the country is making its way back to Delhi this weekend. After making a splash in Mumbai and Bengaluru, the Gin Explorers Club is coming to Delhi and it promises to be bigger than ever.

Started back in 2018, the festival is a two-day-long exploration of all things gin, with a side of great music, food, and shopping opportunities.

For the fifth edition of the festival, they’ve got onboard the finest selection of homegrown and international gins. They’ve also curated cocktails that will transport you to another world altogether. It ties in perfectly with the fantastical and mythical theme of this edition.

For the first time ever, GEC is introducing a G&T Smart Bar On Tap to Delhi, where visitors can explore their take on two traditional gin-based cocktails.

You can also roam around and sample delicious foods from pop-ups of some of the hottest restaurants across the city while enjoying the musical stylings of performers like Aneesha Dass, Ashna Malik, Tanya Nambiar, DJ SA, and Nina Shah (to name a few!).

For fashion enthusiasts, there’s the one-of-a-kind Sneakerwall by Mainstreet and (for the first time ever) the Explorer’s Flea where you can check out trendy festival merchandise and more.

Anjali Batra and Shuchir Suri, co-founders of Food Talk India, the group behind the gin-fuelled celebration, are predictably over-the-moon with the success of their festival and are excited to see where the ‘gin-naissance’ leads from here.

“With each edition of GEC, we are excited to showcase more and more brands to our audience- the explorations just continue to grow! Gin is not a trend- it’s a lifestyle that’s here to stay and we are excited to be at the heart of it all,” says Batra.

“I feel today the beauty of this spirit lies in its versatility, accessibility, ease of consumption and growing affordability for those who are Gin curious in addition to the gin lovers,” says Suri, “At this point in time, it feels like almost everyone is drinking gin. It’s found its way into everyone’s lives- be it the younger drinkers who are starting out and excited to explore or the ones who have an established go-to drink- everyone is adding gin to their choice of spirits to consume, and that’s just what we proudly celebrate at each growing edition of GEC.”

We don’t know about you but we have our weekend plans sorted!

The Gin Explorers Club will take place on 4th and 5th of March, 2023, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.
