Honeycomb Pasta Is Exactly What You’ve Been Looking For

Yet another pasta recipe that has taken over TikTok and Instagram, ‘Honeycomb Pasta’ is something you need to try! Pasta always has a special place in our hearts, and one can never get enough of it. And, lucky for us, Honeycomb Pasta is super easy to make with only a few key ingredients.

Much like its name, the pasta is set and served in the shape of a honeycomb and is baked unlike most of the regular favourite kinds of pasta, which are normally cooked in a pan. Plus, this pasta can be served with any of your favourite sauces—tomato, marinara, arrabbiata and many more.

Here is how you can make the Honeycomb Pasta at home for your next dinner night!


  • Rigatoni
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Pasta Of Your Choice
  • Basil


Step 1: Start by preheating your oven to 350ºF. While it is preheating, take a pot of water and boil it with salt. Once it starts boiling, add some rigatoni pasta to it and cook it until it’s al dante.

Step 2: Once it’s cooked, drain the pasta and add it back to the pot. Then, drizzle some olive oil and Italian seasoning and mix it well.

Step 3: Next, take a springform pan and coat it with a thin layer of olive oil and tomato sauce.

Step 4: Now comes the fun part, line the entire pn with rigatoni pasta and make sure that it is placed well and sits snug. Once it’s done, sprinkle some cheese all over the pasta, especially inside the rigatoni. Finish it off by adding some leftover tomato sauce to the pasta and cheese.

Step 5: Then, bake the pasta for 20- 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and the edges of the pasta have turned golden brown. Remove it from the oven, let it cool for a bit and then slice and serve it on a plate with some basil leaves for garnish.
