If Valentino Pink ruled the red carpets last season, it’s all about Siren Red (not an official term, but should be!) this Summer.

Our favourite celebrities are turning up the heat this season in fiery red ensembles and giving us ample inspiration to follow in their footsteps. Whether it’s Priyanka Chopra, who has made an art form of rocking red these days, or Salma Hayek casually making her way to the top of the Best Dressed lists post-Met Gala 2023 with her red Gucci gown, it’s safe to say that there’s no escaping the colour this Summer.

The colour seems to have made a permanent spot in PC’s wardrobe this season. The actress showed the world how it’s done with her all-out glamour looks on the red carpets of the premiere of her series Citadel. One of the stand-out looks from her premiere looks was a stunning red corsetted Vivienne Westwood gown that took our breaths away.

The actress chose the colour again for her appearance at the Bulgari event alongside Anne Hathaway and Zendaya in Italy earlier last month. Chopra wore a deep red set from Miss Sohee and looked like a dream. Chopra once again turned to the hot colour for her afterparty look at the Met Gala this year when she chose a red Valentino outfit.

This year, at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, many celebrities matched the red carpet with their red ensembles, like Naomi Campbell in her Valentino gown and Gemma Chan in her custom Louis Vuitton look.

Closer to home, Malaika Arora proved her bombshell credentials once again by rocking a gorgeous red Alberta Ferretti gown with a plunging neckline and Kiara Advani wore a slinky red Aadnevik number with cut-outs.

If there’s one lesson to be gleaned from all the red we’ve been seeing on the red carpet this season, it’s that you need to lean into the sexy and fiery nature of the colour and look like a star…
