It’s time we admit to ourselves that we’re all a little bit obsessed with Anne Hathaway and the renaissance of her style this past year and it’s only partly because of the video of her dancing without any care to ‘Lady Marmalade’ at the Valentino after party.

Ever since the Devil Wears Prada actress partnered with celebrity stylist Erin Walsh, her style has gone through a makeover that we didn’t know it needed and given us a fashion icon who comfortably rocks some of the hottest trends on red carpets and regularly breaks the Internet with her style moments.
We’ve still not fully recovered from her see-through Valentino gown that made us want to give sheer fashion a try this season.
The actress has made an art of channelling her inner bombshell in vintage-inspired silhouettes, chunky accessories, and her signature megawatt smile.
Take, for instance, her look at the premiere of her film Eileen at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The actress wore a textured black mini dress which had mesh panels and paired it with sheer tights, and chunky black high-heeled boots.
Hathaway’s messy blowout and gold hoops took us instantly back to the 90s.
Then there was the Versace Fall 2023 show where she made jaws drop with her black, crocodile-embossed Versace mini-dress and sunglasses.
The actress’s love for vintage mini-dresses is not new. Remember how she broke the Internet with her 60s-inspired Gucci dress at the Cannes Film Festival last year?
One of the biggest factors in Hathaway’s style rebranding has been her association with Valentino. It all began with her showing up in a hot pink ensemble at the peak of Barbiecore for the Valentino Fall 2022 show and the rest was history.
We can’t wait to see what Hathaway and Walsh have in store for us in the future!
