Florals for spring might not be groundbreaking but there’s a reason why the trend has become evergreen. As the weather makes room for outdoor brunches and poolside parties, it’s time to inject a dose of exuberant florals into your wardrobes.

Our favourite celebrities have already gotten their hands on the freshest blooms of the season and have been rocking floral prints and motifs on red carpets and more.

Whether you’re heading for a girls’ day out or planning your outfit for the next wedding you’re invited to, florals need a place in your wardrobe. Here are some quick style lessons from your favourite celebrities on how to wear florals in 2023…

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone recently wore a custom Gauri and Nainika dress for Pathaan’s post-release press conference. The dress was covered in boldly printed flowers proving the versatility of the trend. Don’t be afraid to go big when it comes to florals this season.

Alia Bhatt

The Gangubai actress wore an Oscar de la Renta co-ord set covered in pink hydrangeas. The soft colour scheme of the dress and the chic silhouette make it the perfect choice for a semi-formal event. Floral printed co-ord sets are a great way to look put-together while having fun with your style.

Emma D’Arcy

The House of the Dragon star was one of the best dressed on the Golden Globes 2023 red carpet. They made their debut on the iconic red carpet in head-to-toe Acne Studios. One of the details that caught our attention, and there were many eye-catching details about their outfit, was the lapel accessory. D’Arcy had pinned a black rosette on their oversized black blazer. Rosettes have been one of the accessories from late 90s that are making a comeback this year. Remember Hailey Bieber’s rosette gown from last year’s Vanity Fair Oscar party? If you want a fun and edgy way to include florals in your wardrobe, try rosettes.

Athiya Shetty

While we’ve already talked in length about how much we’re crushing on Athiya Shetty’s wedding look, the fact that she wore an understated floral chikankari lehenga needs to be brought up again. While florals have always been present in one way or the other in traditional Indian wedding outfits, Shetty’s Anamika Khanna look presents a more modern take on the trend.

Alaya F

When it comes to florals, sticking to classics never hurt. Like Alaya F’s fun and flirty floral printed sundress, you can add this unofficial staple to your spring/summer wardrobes to bring in the trend to 2023.
