Ananya Panday’s masterclass in rocking sheer outfits

Sheer has taken over our collective fashion conscience, cropping up everywhere from the closets of street style stars to showbiz veterans. Once relegated to sexy negligees, this risqué trend has made its way out of the bedroom and found itself in the party section of everyone’s wardrobe as well as the workwear section the next morning. Wondering how to work the trend without risking any OTT moments? Take notes from the best aka Ananya Panday. The Gehraiyaan actress was the perfect mix of edgy and chic in an asymmetrical lace Aadnevik gown.

The Mimi actress brought the drama to the red carpet in her lilac Atelier Zuhair gown with a long ruffled train following behind her. Sanon teaches us how to choose a silhouette that knows how to flatter your body right without sacrificing the theatrics.

Masaba Gupta on power dressing in 2023

The designer looked all things fierce in her custom-made corset and skirt paired with statement jewellery from the House of Masaba. If you want to elevate a basic black outfit to a red-carpet ready ensemble, a corset top to cinch in that waist in and unique gold jewellery is all you need.

How to match your hair to your outfit, thanks to Kiara Advani

Kiara Advani looked like an especially bright ray of sunshine in a sleek, yellow sequinned dress by Dhruv Kapoor. But what made her stand out even more was her long, sleek rope braid. “(Kiara) wanted to try something different than usual and so we decided to go with a futuristic look to match her sleek outfit,” shared Nishi Singh, Advani’s hair stylist for the look.
