In case you haven’t heard, we might be witnessing another celebrity wedding in the next few months. While there hasn’t been any official announcement of the wedding date, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have made it very clear that they would be tying the knot very soon.

A celebrity wedding is always exciting because, aside from a beautiful declaration of love for each other, they also give us inspiration for our own wedding wardrobes, whether as a bride or a guest.

The Mubarakan actress has been known for her love for timeless silhouettes in neutral colours and often embellished with exquisite handiwork. One of her previous Diwali outfits is a perfect testament to that. The actress wore a white Rahul Mishra ensemble, from his Lotus Pond collection, that was stunning in its simplicity and gave us some insight into what her wedding wardrobe may just look like.

Some of the actress’ go-to designers for traditional wear have been Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre, and Falguni Shane Peacock. The tall and willowy actress loves wearing lehengas that elongate her figure and make her appear taller than her 5’8” height.

For her pre-wedding ceremonies, we think that Shetty will definitely keep things low-key, yet stylish. Her yellow silk velvet bandhej style salwar set by Heena Kocchar seems like the perfect pick for a haldi ceremony.

Both Shetty and Rahul love nature, as evidenced by their respective Instagram feed, so it’s very likely that the two will hold one of the ceremonies, if not the main day, out in nature. Shetty’s love for lightweight and vibrant lehengas with nature-inspired prints, like this Mahima Mahajan outfit, is perfect for a gorgeous outdoor setting.

Or even this gorgeous Shehlaa Khan number that made the statuesque beauty look like a vision in pink.

With Shetty’s affinity towards the classics, it’s hard to discern whether or not she would go for a traditional red for the wedding. Although, we know she can carry off the bold and deep hue, as she did with this Anita Dongre outfit.

She could also go the way of some of our other favourite celebrity brides and opt for an unconventional colour. Judging by her record, it could be an ice-blue outfit. The actress loves the cool hue and has worn it multiple times like when she chose this Ridhi Mehra outfit for an event.

For a cocktail event or a wedding reception, Shetty might just skip the lehengas and saris in favour of a structured gown, or something like this gorgeous strapless Maison Yeya number she wore for one of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding receptions.

For now, all we can do is wait and see what her wedding wardrobe looks like. What do you think?
