Power dressing in the form of pantsuits is all the rage right now, but this time with a dash of Gen-Z cool. Most of our favourite Bollywood stars have fully embraced this trend and are influencing their fans and followers to wear more of it.
The options for styling pantsuits are endless, and the outfit can be dressed up or down according to the occasion. Whether you’re attending a glamorous party or presenting a deck in a meeting, this versatile set can be anything you want.
Do you want to master the art of power dressing? Sonakshi Sinha has been serving some serious sartorial lessons when it comes to putting together a chic pantsuit. Here are six times the Double XL actress has slayed this look.
Sinha sported this monotone yellow Ranbir Mukherjee pant suit during the trailer launch event of her latest release, Double XL, co-starring Huma Qureshi. The Dabangg actress looked stunning in the satin and silk ensemble which featured a blazer with lapel collars and flap pockets, a cropped blouse with a plunging neckline and matching flared pants. She accessorised with a pair of gold hoops, gold finger rings and a graceful wristwatch, and finished off the look with nude heels and minimal makeup.
Sinha shook things up with this Mellow Drama denim pantsuit. The Akira star wore a full-sleeved denim jacket featuring white paint splatters and front pockets, and left the jacket undone for a casual vibe. She paired the blazer with a white ribbed crop top and paint-splattered, high-waisted boyfriend jeans. To tie in the look together, she wore transparent heels and silver hoops with nude makeup and colour coordinated nails.
Giving street-style fashion influencers a run for their money, Sinha rocked another all-denim ensemble, but this time in black. This pantsuit, by the label Jenn, featured some cool, graphic and geometric white patterns all over. The actress put the look together with a cropped blazer, a bralette top and baggy trousers.
Sinha posed in a striking bright mustard three-piece suit with a cropped top, high-rise pants, and a flowy, ankle-length jacket with flared sleeves, all by the label ASRA. She wore this semi-formal ensemble with a golden chain-link choker by Misho designs and golden statement rings by Bansri Mehta design, and square toe stilettos with metallic straps.
The actress looked business chic in this stunning all-black blazer and pants combo which exuded peak girl-boss energy. Sinha accessorised with big hoop earrings and golden rings and finished with black heels, minimal makeup and smokey eyes.
By now, we’re convinced that Sinha and blazers are a lethal combo. And no prizes for guessing, the colour of this sultry pantsuit is once again a reflection of her sunshine-like personality—yellow! She paired the satin blazer with a matching V-shaped corset top and loose pants. She also wore shiny, metallic, multicoloured pointy heels and dainty, layered silver necklaces to pull everything together. Colour us impressed!
