We all know that Deepika Padukone has added ‘Cannes Jury Member’ to the ever-growing list of titles before her name, along with becoming the first Indian to become the House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton. It’s no surprise that the world is eagerly waiting to see what looks the actress pulls at the red carpet and other events at Cannes.
Now that the Film Festival has officially begun, we got to see Padukone present her first look as she joined her fellow jury members for dinner at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez.
To no one’s surprise, the actress looked like a million bucks in her LV striped shift dress, paired with knee-high boots.
She kept her make-up minimal, with a focus on her eyes and left her hair to fall in soft waves, framing her face.
The actress was joined by her fellow jury members, French actor Vincent London, English actress Rebecca Hall, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, Italian actor-director Jasmine Trinca, American director Jeff Nichols, French filmmaker Ladj Ly, and Norwegian screenwriter Joachim Trier.
Padukone will not be the only Bollywood celebrity at the Film Festival, with a contingent of Indian celebrities, like A.R. Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Nayanthara, R. Madhavan and more.
Based on her first look, and her past red carpet outings, it’s safe to say that we can’t wait to see what the actress wears for the rest of her Cannes journey.
