Recently, the superstar played the role of a gracious host to Navpreet Kaur, a model and Femina Miss India finalist, who later shared the highlights of her incredibly fortunate day on Instagram, recounting how she met SRK and Gauri Khan at their residence, Mannat.
Kaur took to Instagram to share the memorable experience, posting a selfie with King Khan himself and an autograph from his youngest son, AbRam Khan. In her detailed account, Kaur expressed her gratitude towards not just the Pathaan star, but also his family members, manager, and family friend, Pooja Dadlani, who showered her with royal treatment and hospitality. The model was delighted to share that the Bollywood icon even took the time to prepare a pizza for her, adding to the already surreal experience.
“I promised myself I’ll never post it, but this memory is too precious to just keep it to myself. Cheers to this oh so blessed day of my life at #Mannat. The king @iamsrk himself baked a pizza, and that too veg because ‘kuch punjabi veg bhi hote hain,” she shared.
She added, “All the while I was at his house, I thought I was dreaming and someone was soon going to wake me up. I kept my calm and composure because I didn’t want to freak out in front of him. When the excitement of sitting at the dining table with him, his family and Pooja was bubbling up, I excused myself and asked for the way to the washroom. He got up from his chair and like an unbelievably warm host, escorted me to the washroom door.” Needless to mention, Kaur had to look in the mirror and silently scream. I mean, of course, who wouldn’t?
Kaur went on to share, “Gauri is a darling. Abram is my new best friend, although he might not remember me in a couple of days. Aryan is such a warm, sweetheart, against his angry-young-man looks. Suhana was busy slaying. Pooja is her iconic self, and I’m still refusing to believe that it wasn’t a dream.”
As the Miss India alum wrapped up her story, she mentioned that when it was time to say goodbye, SRK personally walked her all the way down to where her cab was waiting. She ended by affirming that miracles can indeed happen!
