Actress Ileana D’Cruz announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post this morning. The post included two pictures ‒ one featuring a cute baby romper with the words “And so the adventure begins” printed on it, and the other showcasing a pendant that read “Mama.” Alongside the photos, Ileana captioned the post, “Coming soon. Can’t wait to meet you my little darling.”
Her fellow industry friends wasted no time in showering her with congratulations and well wishes in the comments section.
The Rustom actress’ mother Samira D’Cruz commented, “Welcome soon to the world my new grand baby (heart emoticon) can’t wait (dancing emoticon).” Shibani Dandekar wrote, “Ahhh congratulations my love this is amazing news,” followed by heart emoticons. Nisha Aggarwal wrote, “So beautiful. Congratulations.” Nargis Fakhri dropped love-struck and clapping hands emoticons.
Meanwhile, D’Cruz is rumoured to be dating Katrina Kaif’s brother Sebastian Laurent Michel. The actress also joined her brother on Katrina’s birthday in the Maldives.
During an episode of the popular talk show Koffee With Karan, host Karan Johar posed a question to Kaif about D’Cruz and her brother’s rumoured relationship. Johar mentioned that there were speculations about Ileana being part of their friend circle and added, “But we don’t have to confirm that.”
He further remarked about images of the couple on a Maldives trip and how it seemed like their friendship had escalated quickly, prompting him to do some mental calculations.
He added, “But on a Maldives trip we saw some images come out and I was like doing the Math in my head like these two meet for the first time in a party and that moves fast as well.”
To this, Katrina Kaif replied, “Karan sees everything. Karan’s eyes don’t miss anything.”
On the work front, D’Cruz recently featured in the music video ‘Sab Gazab’ sung by Goldkartz and Badshah, has been making waves in the music industry. Prior to that, she also appeared in QARAN’s music video ‘Ooo Ooo’ last year. While the mum-to-be’s last film outing was The Red Bull, where she starred alongside Abhishek Bachchan, she has completed shooting for her upcoming film Unfair & Lovely. Directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, the film also stars Randeep Hooda and Karan Kundrra.
Known for keeping a low profile when not working, D’Cruz has been actively promoting her new music video ‘Sab Gazab’ on Instagram. She recently shared a video of herself wearing a stunning strapless yellow gown and captioned it, “In a gazab state of mind #SabGazab. (sic).”
