Inside Priyanka & Malti Marie’s Adorable Easter Celebrations

Priyanka Chopra is celebrating Easter with her adorable baby girl Malti Marie, and the internet can’t get enough of the mother-daughter duo. The 40-year-old actress, who shares the tyke with her husband Nick Jonas, shared an adorable snap of her baby girl sitting in an Easter basket to her Instagram Stories on Sunday.

‘Happy Easter to all celebrating,’ she wrote in the post. The Quantico actress included a celebratory emoji along with a heart and prayer hands emoji. In the photo, young Malti sat inside the basket wearing a yellow dress and white floral headband. A beautiful arrangement of colourful flowers sat beside her.

Chopra also shared a heartwarming Easter album on Instagram featuring delightful moments with tiny MM. The opening slide showcases a precious picture of Priyanka and Malti, with the baby wearing a customised T-shirt that reads “Malti Marie’s first Easter.” The mother-daughter duo’s twinning game is on point in a bathroom selfie, where Malti is seen enjoying Easter treats. The album also captures Malti spending time in the garden with PC’s beloved furballs, Panda and Gino. Chopra’s sweet post was accompanied by emojis of a red heart, evil eye, and folded hands, eliciting affectionate responses from fans and colleagues.

This comes after PeeCee visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with Malti during the toddler’s first trip to India. The star was in her native country and hometown to promote her new Amazon Prime series Citadel and to attend the glitzy opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. While there, the mom of one took time to introduce her one-year-old daughter to the Indian side of her heritage.

The Bollywood-turned-Hollywood star was dressed in traditional Indian dress in the colours of red, light blue, orange and green. A bindi adorned her forehead and her long brown hair was parted in the middle and tumbling down her back.

Malti Marie looked adorable in a multi-colored pastel dress with a delicate headband on her head as she took in the Hindu temple with her mother. The Love Again star captioned the snaps: ‘MM’s first trip to India had to be done with Siddhivinayak’s blessings,’ followed by a praying hands emoji and heart emoji.

Meanwhile, the star’s new science fiction series, Citadel, drops its first two episodes on Prime on April 28, followed by a new episode released weekly on Fridays.

The actress plays the character of Nadia Singh. The spy series marks the first time Chopra will be receiving equal pay as the male lead, with the actress previously revealing she got the same fee as co-actor Richard Madden. This follows the revelation Chopra made about her decision to leave Bollywood, admitting she had ‘beef’ with people in the industry.

The actress started out as a Hindi film star in the aughts but moved to America in 2015 when she took on a leading role in Quantico. Discussing her decision to move to Hollywood, the mother-of-one confessed that while she enjoyed working on Bollywood projects she struggled with the people and petty politics.
