Shershaah co-actors, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are the most talked-about couple in Bollywood presently. For a long time, fans and media reports have been speculating about their impending wedding. These rumours were further fuelled when the duo appeared on the season 7 of Koffee With Karan in separate episodes this year and confirmed that they’re more than ‘just friends’.

And now, to the delight of millions of ‘SidKiara’ stans, the very handsome Malhotra has dropped the much-awaited hint regarding his marriage with his lady love.
During the promotions of his upcoming movie Mission Majnu, Malhotra was asked to address the (wedding) elephant in the room. The actor surprisingly didn’t deny or dodge the question, and instead, very confidently replied that he is getting married this year. Social media users and fans quickly got wind of this intel and basically broke the internet with happiness.
The gorgeous couple is adored by their fans for their sizzling chemistry both, onscreen and offscreen, and we can’t wait to see them hitched in real life. Recent reports also revealed that the couple will get married in a luxurious resort in Chandigarh some time in 2023.
It’s been more than a year, but we’re still obsessing over the promotional reels created by the duo for Shershaah on loop. Whether it’s ‘Ratan Lambiyaan’ or ‘Ranjha’, the videos are all things love and fans have continuously been speculating of a dreamy love story between the two.

It all started when rumours of the two collaborating for a project for Dharma Productions and images of the two began going viral. Fans of the stars instantly started shipping the two and numerous fan pages dedicated to the couple were made.
But rumours began to spark when the two took off to South Africa in 2019 for New Year’s and went on to share images from a wildlife safari that didn’t feature each other. But their fans clearly put two and two together and figured they were together based on the pictures they posted.
And shortly after, on Advani’s birthday, not only did Malhotra make a very dapper entry but the two also left together from the venue.
Due to the lockdown in 2020, not much was heard about the two initially. But then came the announcement of Shershaah followed by the promotions.
In 2021, their chemistry at the super hit movie’s promotional events and in the film continued to grab headlines. The film was released in August 2021, which garnered a lot of acclaim and appreciation from critics and viewers alike. The two went on to create beautiful reels to the songs of their films that clearly hinted at their blooming love offscreen.
Then came the release of the song ‘Ranjha’ and fans were certain that, even though the two are great actors, only two people in love can do justice to the song and the results are for the world to see.
During this time, they had been snapped getting in and out of airports as they took off to the Maldives for quick getaways. Not to forget the time when the Govinda Naam Mera actress was snapped at a restaurant in the city along with her rumoured beau and his parents, who had flown down from New Delhi to meet the couple.
Advani then went on to share a video on her birthday in 2021 in which Sid was spotted in the background for a fleeting second. In the snippet, the actress was seen celebrating her birthday at home with her family in a very intimate setting.
The actors had remained tight-lipped about their relationship all this time, until Karan Johar probed them with questions about their romance on his talk show this year. Both of them dropped big hints about them being together and even admitted to being more than just friends.
Johar also broached the topic of marriage, to which Advani said, “I have always believed in the institution of marriage because I have seen a beautiful marriage at home. So it is definitely something I do see in my life, but I’m not revealing that on Koffee With Karan today.” Johar and fellow guest, Shahid Kapoor, fished for more details but to no avail. The moviemaker also went on to ask if he was invited to her wedding, to which the actress immediately said yes.
When asked the same, Malhotra also low-key admitted to their relationship. When Johar prodded the actor about his future plans with Advani, he said, “I am manifesting a brighter and happier future.” Responding to his manifestation, Johar quipped, ”With Kiara“, and the actor promptly said, ”If it was her, it would be great“. So, how soon are we hearing wedding bells? Sadly, we will have to wait and watch!
But after months of speculations and anonymous-sources-backed reports, the two actors tied the knot in a beautiful and closely guarded ceremony in Jaisalmer.
