ICYMI, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are coming together onscreen for the first time in Luv Ranjan’s upcoming romantic comedy. Fans have been eagerly waiting for more information on the project, only to be forced to content themselves with a few leaked photos and clips from the set and their own theories.
But yesterday, the makers of the movie took to Instagram to tease fans about the title of the film by sharing the initials of the movie’s name and asking fans to guess what they could mean. Fans started scrambling to guess what ‘TJMM’ could mean after all.
After many guesses poured in, including one from Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor finally shared the name of the movie and a short teaser on her Instagram.
The rom-com is going to be titled Tu Jhooti Main Makkar! The clip shows Ranbir and Shraddha’s characters teasing each other, giving fans a glimpse of what they could expect from the movie.
Ranjan, who has previously directed movies like the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, is known to deliver popular hits and so the expectations from the movie are already sky-high.
Ranbir, however, claims that this might be his last film of the genre. In an interaction with the press at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, the actor said, “I don’t know it is probably going to be one of the last romantic comedies I do because I am getting older.”
Tu Jhooti Main Makkar is slated to be released on 8 March, 2023.
