It’s a season of debuts at the Khan household because Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has announced that he’s ready to make his debut in the industry, but with a twist.
With his father being one of the most respected actors across the world and his sister Suhana Khan at the cusp of her own big Bollywood debut, people expected the young star kid to follow their footsteps.
But, as it turns out, Khan is making his debut in Bollywood as a writer. He took to Instagram to share a photo of a finished script, with the caption, “Wrapped with the writing...can’t wait to say action (sic),”
The post also revealed that his project would be backed by his parents’ production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Whether Khan would be involved as an actor too, or maybe take the helm as the director, is yet to be known.
Support from his friends and family started pouring in soon in the comments section of the post. Mom Gauri Khan responded with a “Can’t wait to watch,” followed by multiple heart eye emojis and SRK wrote, “Wow....thinking...believing....dreaming done, now onto dare....wish you the best for the first one. It’s always special....(sic).”
The budding screenwriter replied to his dad’s comment, writing, “Thank you! Looking forward to your surprise visits on set.” To this, SRK replied, with his characteristic charm, “Then better keep afternoon shifts!! No early mornings.”
