Every The Office fan knows that identity theft is not a joke, but do they know that millions of families suffer every year due to untimely climate change caused by global warming? Rainn Wilson from the hit TV series, The Office, has officially changed his name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson to protest climate change.

In the video that he shared, Wilson called it a “cheap little stunt to help save planet Earth.” The Rocker star further said, “I changed my name… to help tell the world leaders and influencers that we need to act now.” And while he has changed his name on Instagram, Facebook and even his “fancy writing paper,” he has not been able to change his name on Twitter. Wilson explained why that was the case on the platform, “They won’t let me change my name because, Elon!”

The actor, who is remembered for his iconic role as Dwight Schrute, took to social media to make the announcement, just in time for the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP27 in Egypt. Wilson, who is a board member of Arctic Basecamp, changed his name through this website, Arctic Riska Name Generator which changes your name into the major risks that threaten to destroy the Arctic region.
