Have You Seen This Doodle Of Alia, Ranbir & Their Daughter?

To celebrate the arrival of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s precious baby girl, Amul India shared an adorable doodle of the trio, leaving fans impressed. It’s safe to say that milk and dairy products of the popular food brand have been staples in most Indian kitchens in the past few decades. However, Amul has also been known for more than just its dairy delights.

Cartoons released by the brand’s creative team have always done more than just advertise its products. These doodles have time and again celebrated as well as satirised different political and social developments with the use of clever puns and tongue-in-cheek humour. The Amul campaign tells the stories of India as they unfold, one hoarding at a time. The cartoons are markers of the ‘popular’ history of India and have been followed by fans for decades.

Timeless and ageless, this long-running campaign has captivated Indians—especially brand managers and agency workers—of all ages. Their latest doodle commemorates the birth of the first child of two of India’s biggest superstars, allowing the baby girl to etch a mark in the country’s pop culture and history.

The Brahmastra duo welcomed their daughter into the world on November 6, as warm wishes and congratulations from family, friends and fans came pouring in. Amul India also dedicated a special topical to them.

The food company shared a sketch of Alia, Ranbir and their newborn daughter in a typical ‘Amul’ avatar, lying in the hospital bed, giddy with happiness. The image included the text ‘Alia Bhetti’ printed on it, and ‘Utterly Daughterly Delicious’ in the footnote. The photo also integrated the lion family sketch that Alia had shared while making the joyful announcement.

Fans were also quite impressed with the post and the attention to detail. “It’s the Lion family picture behind them for me,” wrote one netizen, while another added, “You guys are the best ad makers ever!” As many extended congratulatory messages, a few were also miffed that the team shifted their attention from national issues to celebrity posts.

Bhatt posted an image of a family of lions to announce their daughter’s birth, and wrote, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia.”

A string of Bollywood celebrities and industry colleagues including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Sonam Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal and Kareena Kapoor, among others, congratulated the couple.

While there’s been much speculation about what the newly minted parents plan to name their baby girl, the Kapoor family has not offered any clarification or comment so far. Here’s hoping the duo isn’t taking inspiration from Elon Musk for baby names, ‘cause we all know how that turned out. Jokes apart, we can’t wait to learn the future superstar’s name and have a peek at her tiny, cuddly face!
