Ranveer Singh And YRF Part Ways After 12 Years

Yash Raj Films’ prodigy Ranveer Singh amicably parted ways with YRF Talent 12 years after the agency gave him his first big break, Band Baaja Baaraat. The star has collaborated with YRF for several projects in his career, including Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011), Gunday (2014), Kill Dil (2014), Befikre (2016), and Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022).

Singh, who forayed into the entertainment industry with Maneesh Sharma’s Band Baaja Baaraat, bankrolled by Yash Raj Films in 2010, has maintained a long-standing association with the production house for over a decade. However, as per reports, the actor has now parted ways with the company’s talent management agency after making a series of successful movies together.

Producer Aditya Chopra has played an instrumental role in shaping Singh’s now internationally-acclaimed career by mentoring the actor since his days as an industry newbie, which is why YRF will always remain home to Singh, reports suggest.

“The relationship between the two is and will always be solid and precious as ever. They have now amicably decided to part ways. The relationship between Ranveer and YRF has always been and continues to be one of immense mutual respect and affection,” a source shared.

Having said that, the actor will continue working with the production house as and when possible.

With Singh gaining popularity across the globe, he has been scoring invites to the world’s most prestigious sporting and entertainment events left and right. Most recently, the Bajirao Mastani star has been invited to attend and represent India at the FIFA World Cup Final in Qatar, which is scheduled to take place in December this year.

The actor will be jetting off to Qatar to attend the massive football event on December 18, which will feature two of the best countries in the world locking horns to win the coveted World Cup.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Dharma Productions’ Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The film will hit the screens in 2023. He also has Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus in his kitty.
