The Birthday Meet-And-Greet Outside Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat Is Back With A Bang

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared a video from his POV (point of view) of him greeting a massive sea of fans gathered outside his Bandra bungalow, Mannat, on his birthday—an annual tradition that was absent for two years due to the pandemic. The actor expressed his gratitude and thanked his fans for showering so much love upon him, year after year.

On SRK’s 57th birthday the actor resumed the meet-and-greet tradition where he would often wave at throngs of ardent fans while standing atop a platform on the wall of his house in true Bollywood style. However, this rendezvous had been stopped since Covid-19 for obvious reasons, only to be brought back this year.

A day after his birthday, the actor shared his perspective of the exchange and marvelled at the outpouring of love he received from thousands of fans stationed outside his house. Although there are countless pictures and videos of Shah Rukh’s fan-meets shared by onlookers and paparazzi from their POV floating on the internet, this video shows us what King Khan sees for a change.

The actor took to Instagram to express how these precious experiences make him feel and posted a bird’s eye view of his fans—which seemed like a scene straight out of Om Shanti Om if you ask us. The clip perfectly captured SRK’s historic stardom and the impact he has had on people over the years.

Captioning the post, the actor wrote, “The sea of love as I see it. Thank u all for being there and making this day ever so special. Gratitude…and only Love to you all.” The video had the song ‘Mere Naam Tu’ from Shah Rukh’s film Zero playing in the background.

Khan had an eventful birthday on November 2 on the work front as well. The teaser of his first film in four long years—Pathaan—was released by YRF in the morning, which had fans raving about the action sequences and grand set pieces in the film, and celebrating the return of King Khan on the big screen. The YRF film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

The production house also re-released their iconic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) in select theatres across the country to mark SRK’s birthday, which garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from his fans. Apart from this, the actor’s birthday was commemorated overseas with Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lighting up in his honour and wishing him on his special day.
