Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus shares a very special bond with her godmother, Dolly Parton. The country singer is a very close friend of the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer and Billy Ray Cyrus, who asked Parton to be Miley’s godmother. The duo were first seen on Cyrus’ hit tv show, Hannah Montana and now often collaborate and perform together on stage. Cyrus is now gearing up to be a part of Parton’s new Christmas movie, Mountain Magic Christmas.

Yash and Roohi Johar

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have been friends since Khan first made his mark in the industry. Ever since then, along with Gauri Khan, the actor-director duo have been the closest friends in the industry. A few years ago during an interview, Johar shared that Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan are the godparents of his twins, Yash and Roohi Johar.

Katherine Kaling

Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak have been best friends since they first met on the sets of their hit show, The Office. While they did date for a little while, they still are each other’s biggest cheerleaders, with Novak now being her daughter, Katherine’s godfather.

Zachary Furnish-John and Elijah Furnish-John

After Elton John performed with Lady Gaga at the 2010 Grammy Awards, the two became good friends in no time and John soon named the ‘Born This Way’ singer as his kids Zachary Furnish-John and Elijah Furnish-John’s godmother. The twins even sent Gaga a handwritten letter and flowers after she won her first Oscar in 2019.

Coco Arquette

Friends for life, Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox have been besties since they first starred in their hit sitcom, Friends. Needless to say, Cox’s daughter, Coco Arquette, who was born almost a month after the finale aired in 2004, is Aniston’s goddaughter.

Frankie Barrymore Kopelman

Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz have been very close friends since they first starred alongside each other in the hit action film, Charlie’s Angels. Barrymore soon named Diaz the godmother of her youngest child, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman, who was born in 2014.

Zoë Kravitz

Oscar-winning actor, Marisa Tomei is Zoë Kravitz’s godmother, who happens to be very close to her mother Lisa Bonet. The two friends work together in the ’80s sitcom A Different World and have been best friends since then. Tomei is also the godmother to Bonet’s kids, Lola Iolani Momoa and Nakoa-Wolf, who she shares with Jason Mamoa.

Harper Seven Beckham

When Victoria Beckham had her daughter Harper Seven in 2011, she chose her close friend, Eva Longoria to be her godmother. The former Desperate Housewives star shared in an interview on how she intends to be a great influencer on the youngest Beckham.
