Did Hrithik Roshan Confirm His Role In Brahmastra’s Sequel?

Ever since Hrithik Roshan changed the trajectory of Indian cinema by climbing out of a helicopter in slo-mo while looking like the rugged, muscular action hero we needed but didn’t deserve (in War), he has become aware of his power all too well.

Not only is he having way too much fun playing the morally ambiguous hot villain in the upcoming Vikram Vedha, he also knows that what most of us want is to see him play a larger-than-life character in an epic movie like, say, a certain sequel to a certain big-budget movie involving Ranbir Kapoor and ancient astras. I’m not saying that I will need three business days to recover from seeing him onscreen as Dev, the morally ambigious hot villain of Brahmastra-verse, but I’m also not not saying that, you feel me?

I have too much on my plate at the moment. House of the Dragon’s Alicent and Ser Cristan Cole are reigniting my rage issues and the fact that I’m low-key rooting for the cruel and not-so-vaguely incestuous Daemon Targaryen is not helping. Also, now Rihanna is going to play at the next Super Bowl and all my energies are going towards making sure the Universe delivers the message to her that she has to perform ‘Pon de Replay’ and ‘Shut Up and Drive’ on stage because otherwise what even would be the point, right?

So I think it’s not too much to expect some clarity on where we stand on the whole Hrithik Roshan being in Brahmastra 2 front?

During the ongoing promotion run for Vikram Vedha, the actor was asked about his potential involvement with two of the most anticipated upcoming Bollywood movies, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra 2 and Nitesh Tiwary’s Ramayana.

The actor has been at the top of the list of actors people want to see in the movies. Fan theories and (wild) analysis of movie stills have also pointed towards Roshan’s involvement in the projects. So was he straightforward about denying (or accepting) that he is going to be in the two movies? Of course not.

The actor said, “What is happening? Nothing is happening. Next Fighter will start and then there is potential for others to be made, (including) the ones you spoke of. Fingers crossed.”

What does that even mean?!

Sir, my brain has zero space to deal with your riddles. I need to know if I should mentally prepare myself to see Hrithik Roshan as Dev in Brahmastra 2 because did I not mention that I’m weak?!

While I’m still not sure if Hrithik Roshan is going to be a part of Brahmastra 2 or Ramayana, it’s safe to say that it’s most of what Im going to be thinking about for the next few weeks.

Now excuse me, I need to go touch some grass and smell the roses.
