French designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus just tied the knot to his long-time partner, Marco Maestri on August 27 at a gorgeous town hall in the village of Charleval in Bouches-du-Rhône, which is a small scenic region in the South of France. The couple has been dating since 2018 and shared the news of their engagement on Instagram, a little over a year ago on June 6, 2021.
The couple had a beautiful, intimate wedding surrounded by their loved ones, who shared that they truly felt their love during the ceremony. While entering the town hall, Jacquemus walked in, arm-in-arm with his grandmother, Liline, while Maestri rode a 1950s cream convertible MG, accompanied by his mother, Catherine.
Needless to say, the sartorial game at the wedding exceeded expectations. Jacquemus and Maestri’s nuptials had guests walking in in stunning shades of ivory, with many wearing looks from his recent Fall 2022 Ready-To-Wear modern bridal collection, Le Papier. But the one guest that stood out the most was Dua Lipa. The ‘Sweetest Pie’ singer wore look 15 from the collection, a floor-length white sheer gown with a thigh-high slit and embroidered flowers. Some of the other notable guests at the wedding were Amina Muaddi, Jeanne Damas, Damso, Didi Stone, Fary Lopes and Lamia Lagha amongst others.
After the ceremony, the reception took place at Château de Bonneval where the newlywed couple and their friends and family danced and celebrated the special night.
