Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally tied the knot! Yes, the fairytale finally came true when the couple had an intimate ceremony at the iconic Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The ‘Let’s Get Loud’ singer took to her newsletter, On The JLo, to share the beautiful news.
“So with the best witness you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter. She further shared, “They even had a Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last.”
Lopez wore not just one but two stunning wedding gowns for her intimate ceremony. Sticking to the wedding tradition, for her “something old”, Lopez wore a simple white dress which she wore in a movie for the ceremony and then later changed into a stunning off-shoulder gown by Zuhair Murad, who also designed the wedding gown for her latest film, Marry Me. Affleck wore a black blazer in the beginning and then changed into a white tuxedo.
What’s more, we heard that the Hustlers actor signed off the newsletter with her new, official name, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck. Like we said, the fairytale finally came true. As Mrs. Afflect rightly put it, “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
