Oscar-winning director, Bong Joon Ho is all set to give us another hit film, with a splendid star cast. The Warner Bros-produced untitled sci-fi thriller is said to star Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette, and Naomi Ackie. While there isn’t much information about the forthcoming film, we hear it’s based on Edward Ashton’s latest novel, Mickey7. The 2022 novel revolves around an expendable employee, Mickey7 who is sent to colonise the ice world, Niflheim. During the mission, Mickey is presumed dead, and when he returns to colony base he realises he has been replaced by his clone Mickey8. The conflict? Two clones aren’t allowed to eist. So, to survive, Mickey must protect his secret and remain undiscovered, while also coming up with a plan for his fellow people to survive on the unsuitable ice-world, Niflheim.
Did that description just give you chills? Imagine that on the big screen now!
