After almost 29 years since the black flame candle resurrected the 17th-century witch sisters, they are back in Salem, bringing in even more chaos and mayhem. The iconic Halloween film, Hocus Pocus is coming for a sequel, finally fulfilling all our childhood dreams (or nightmares).
Recently, Disney + released the trailer of Hocus Pocus 2, where we can see Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy returning to their iconic roles as the Sanderson Sisters. Much like the 1993 film, Hocus Pocus 2 revolves around three high schoolers who begin a birthday ritual by lighting up the black flame candle, in hopes of activating their magical abilities, only to bring back the three witch sisters who have sworn to create a ruckus in the mystical town of Massachusetts.
Directed by Anne Fletcher, the film is all set to release on Disney’s streaming platform on September 30, 2022. It’s finally time to wear costumes on All Hallow’s Eve and run amok!
