Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor kicked off the day with a post on Instagram from the actress that left fans reeling. While the post was pretty self-explanatory, Bhatt was lying on a hospital bed, with Kapoor at her side, as they looked at an ultrasound. The caption confirmed that it was, in fact, a baby announcement, with Bhatt writing, “Our baby ..... coming soon.”
Despite the obvious photo and the caption, many people were cautious with their congratulatory messages, thinking that it was a publicity stunt for their upcoming movie Brahmastra. But with family and close friends of the couple confirming the news in the comments below the post, people soon caught up that the news is very real and we’re getting a Ralia baby very soon!
If you thought this was the only surprising celebrity pregnancy announcement that you’d get to witness today, you’d be wrong. Crash Landing On You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, AKA one of everyone’s favourite reel-to-real couple, also announced on Instagram that they’re expecting a baby.
Rumours of the K-drama actress’ pregnancy had been going around till her agency released a statement denying them. But she posted the news on Instagram, accompanied by a heartwarming note, confirming the baby news herself. “Today, I want to carefully share some joyful news. A new life has come to us..I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement. As thankful as I am, I also feel that much cautious, so I haven’t even told anyone around me yet. Before it gets later, I am sharing this news with fans and acquaintances who must have been waiting as much as us. We will make sure to protect the valuable life that has come to us. I hope all of you will also protect what is valuable in your lives and live in good health…Be happy (sic),” she wrote.
