Korean supergroup BTS might have taken a temporary break from group activities, but that doesn’t mean they would take a day off from breaking records and, effectively, the Internet.

In case you’re one of the few people in the world who are not aware of everything that goes on with the most popular music group on Earth at the moment, the seven members got a friendship tattoo to commemorate their extraordinary journey of nearly a decade together.

To mark the end of their first chapter and the beginning of their new path where they explore their individual journeys, the septet got a ‘7’ inked on their bodies at different spots.

Members RM, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, and Jimin had already revealed their tattoos on their Instagram, leaving fans excited to know where the remaining two (Jin and Suga) had gotten theirs.

So when Jungkook had let it slip in his recent V-live session that Jin had gotten his tattoo on his waist, ARMYs decided it’s safer for everyone concerned that Jin doesn’t post his tattoo reveal online because there’s only so much our fragile hearts can take.

But on Sunday morning, Worldwide Handsome Jin posted his tattoo reveal with two shirtless photos of him posing with his back to the camera, with the caption “I also got a friendship tattoo”.

Not expecting to be attacked by the glorious visuals from the usually shy band member, ARMYs went into a frenzy online.

Not just the ARMYs, but his fellow bandmates were also not faring any better, with RM promptly commenting on the picture, writing, “Oh, I was shocked. I thought you weren’t wearing pants either,” and J-Hope summarising all our feelings with a “Holy moly!”

Tattoo reveals aside, BTS members have been making headlines for a variety of reasons these days. Jungkook’s feature on Charlie Puth’s latest single topped charts worldwide and became the fastest song to reach over eight million streams in one day by a Korean solo artist. V, or Kim Taehyung, is gearing up for an In The Soop spin-off with his Wooga Squad and just made his Paris Fashion Week front row debut at the Celine showcase. J-hope is co-headlining this year’s Lollapalooza and just announced his upcoming solo album Jack In The Box.

Can’t wait to see what the other members have in store for us!
