Charlie Puth finally gave in to the rumours and has confirmed his collaboration with BTS. The ‘Light Switch’ singer has previously performed with Jungkook on his popular song, ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ at the MBC X Genie Music Awards 2018. Recently, during an interview, when asked about the speculation around a collaboration with the Korean Idol group, Puth spoke about how he had also heard about the rumours and that no one in his camp had any idea about the release date, saying “We legitimately have no idea the day it comes out, we do, but we just figured it out.” But when the interviewer seemed shocked about an actual release date and not just rumours, Puth realised that he had slipped some pretty confidential news, leaving fans around the world in a puddle of hot, excited mess.

Fans took to Twitter to react to Charlie’s slip up, stating that he “pulled a Namjoon”. The leader of BTS, Kim Namjoon who also goes by his stage name, RM, is known for often accidentally giving out updates and sharing information about their upcoming music to fans on their live stream. Earlier this year, Snoop Dog also confirmed that he is working on a collaboration with BTS and said “I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

BTS is also gearing up for their upcoming anthology album, Proof, which comes out on June 10. While the album consists of some of their most iconic songs in their career of nine years, it will also have three new songs,‘Yet To Come’, ‘Run BTS’, and ‘Born Singer’.

It’s going to be an exciting year for BTS fans!
