Kapoor, who is married to entrepreneur Anand Ahuja, took to Instagram on March 21st to share the joyful news of her pregnancy with the world. As the wishes poured in for the soon-to-parents, grandparents Anil and Sunita Kapoor are over the moon about their first grandchild. Taking to Instagram, the AK vs AK star shared, “Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life -GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
During the promotions of his upcoming film Thar, where Anil Kapoor is starring alongside his son, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Kapoor said that he is confident that Sonam will be a great mother. Kapoor also spoke about how his daughter is eager to get back to films after she delivers her baby. “The kind of work she has done, the body of work she has, and she’s done some special films, I’m sure she’s going to do even better films after she delivers and gets back to work. She’s looking forward to getting back to work very soon,” the actor added.
