The second weekend of Coachella began with a big bang as Lizzo joined Harry Styles for a surprise performance. On Friday, April 22, Lizzo took the crowd by surprise as she walked onto the stage as she and Styles wore matching pink feathered coats by Gucci. The incredible duo performed two iconic songs, Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 hit ‘I Will Survive’ and One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, making the crowd go wild with excitement. The headliner also invited Shania Twain for the first weekend of his Coachella show for a duet of her two top hit songs ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ and ‘You’re Still The One’.

Lizzo’s powerful cover of ‘I Will Survive’ will go down in the music festival's history as one of the most iconic performances to have ever been witnessed. This duo surely made all of us who couldn’t attend the festival feel every bit of the ‘FOMO’.

Lizzo posted a chaotically blurry but cute picture of the two of them, captioning “Proud of you @harrystyles. Thank u for having me”, and we all felt the love.

The headliner and the ‘Rumors’ singer have been good friends for a while and have always admired each other’s work. In January 2020, Harry popped up for a surprise performance with Lizzo for a duet performance of her chart-topping hit, ‘Juice’ at The Fillmore Miami Beach. Styles has also covered the song on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge while Lizzo performed his song ‘Adore You’ for the YouTube series.
