When the ARMY said that the only competition to BTS is BTS, they weren’t joking around. BTS member Park Jimin recently released a song for Netflix’s ongoing K-drama Our Blues and broke records held by the band’s most successful single within hours.
The Grammy-nominated singer collaborated with Wanna One member Ha Sung-woon for the song ‘With You’ for his first-ever OST.
Jimin’s soft vocals complement the song’s heartbreaking lyrics and the fans couldn’t agree more. Within five hours of the song’s release, it had topped the iTunes chart in over 100 different regions, a record previously held by BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ which achieved this in eight hours.
This is not the first time, however, that a BTS member has given their vocals for a K-drama’s OST. Previously, member V sang the song ‘Christmas Tree’ for the TV series Our Beloved Summer, and ‘Sweet Night’ for Itaewon Class, meanwhile Jin’s ‘Yours’ featured in the OST of Jirisan.
