Instagram is flooded with pap pictures of the Kapoor and Bhatt families going to and fro from the much-awaited #Ralia wedding that’s supposedly happening today. And after days of anticipation and waiting with bated breath, we finally have an #OOTD post by Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

Donned in a head-to-toe silver sari by ace couturier Manish Malhotra (figures), this is the first post we’ve seen so far by the inner circle that’s attending the wedding. And, if we’re being totally honest, we’re obsessed with all the silver.

So, if Sahni’s silver sari has charmed you too, here are five ways in which you can wear silver this summer:

1. Accessories

Accessories are a sureshot way of getting in on the trend on the DL. Take your pick with bejwelled silver clutches that will match your Indianwear or geometric renditions in pearly shades that are the perfect choice for beach weather. We, in particular, love this shell-shaped clutch by Cult Gaia.

2. Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

It’s the easiest rendition on the block. Take inspiration from Malaika Arora herself and pair a sartorially bold outfit with the shiniest shoes your can find. This one is a winner!

3. Head-To-Toe Silver

What’s better than donning the showstopping colour in a gorgeous ensemble. Remember Alia Bhatt’s metallic Bloni sari that went viral on the ‘gram? Well, if a sari isn’t the way you’d like to go, might we suggest taking inspiration from Gen-Z sartorialists Janhvi Kapoor and Tara Sutaria?

4. A Snatched Face

Let’s be honest, wearing a bodycon silver dress a la Janhvi isn’t for the faint-hearted. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t cop the trend. Might we suggest some make-up? We love the recent galactic-esque eye look that celebrity make-up artist Patrick Ta did for singer Camila Cabello.

5. Jewels And More Jewels

Yes, you read that right. No better way to sport silver than in jewellery, and thankfully, there are a whole host of Indian brands at your disposal; ask and you shall receive. And if you’re in need of inspiration, look no further than Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. The book on pairing silver jewellery with updated, modern silhouettes was practically written by her.
