Our favourite punk princess, Avril Lavigne is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend and fellow punk artist, Mod Sun. The ‘Girlfriend’ singer shared a few heartwarming moments from her proposal in Paris. Feeling the love, the star captioned the post “Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours”.
For those who haven’t been following the love story, the couple has been dating since November 2020, when they got together to write a song, just before she had decided that she “needs a break from men”. But it took only a few days for Avril to change her mind and she immediately started dating Sun after the session.
The ‘Sk8r Boi’ singer was featured on Mod’s 2021 single, ‘Flames’ and also co-wrote and co-produced many tracks from Avril’s latest album, Love Sux, which came out in February 2022.
The couple was last spotted at the 64th Grammy Awards, where they shared a cute kiss on the red carpet. As far as gram-worthy moments go, Lavigne and her beau are hitting us with one after another and we’re all for it!
