It’s a great time to be Alia Bhatt. Fresh off the critical and box-office success of Gangubai Kathiawadi, the actress is now all set to make her big Hollywood debut alongside Wonder WomanGal Gadot.
The Raazi actress is going to star alongside Gadot and Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan in Netflix and Skydance’s Heart of Stone.
The streaming platform’s Indian channel announced the big news this morning, revealing that the movie is going to be an “international spy thriller”.
Gadot also took to Instagram to introduce her character Rachel Stone to the world.
The film is being helmed by British director Tom Harper and the script is written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The plot details, or more information on Bhatt’s role, haven’t been revealed yet.
Bhatt joins the ranks of actors like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher, and Ali Fazal with this English-language international debut.
Aside from this, Bhatt has an exciting list of movies lined up for the future, including SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
