This year’s red-carpet saw plenty of risks with major payoff. The bleached brow trend is still alive and well, thanks to bold looks from Doja Cat and Maren Morris, while pops of colour on the likes of Lizzo, Kelsea Ballerini, and Taylor Swift left us delighted. Without further ado, here are the best beauty moments from the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Doja Cat
Punk is alive and well — just ask Doja Cat. Between the choppy pixie cut, metallic lips, bleached eyebrows, and the elongated wings, we don’t know which part of this look is our favorite.

Taylor Swift
‘Best believe she’s still bejewelled’ on the red carpet. The album of the year nominee wore her signature red lip with Midnights-inspired blue eyeshadow. To show off her blinged out-earrings, she piled her hair into a loose topknot.

Lizzo
Lizzo’s romantic look was “inspired by the intricate beauty and detail of the flowers that illuminated her face and the vibrant color of her beautiful gown,” as per her make-up artist. To match her outfit, the singer wore a wash of bright orange shadow on her lids.

Maren Morris
The second bleached eyebrow moment of the night! Morris kept the rest of her look minimal with nude lips, charcoal lined eyes, and slicked-back wet hair.

Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves matched her makeup to her feathery pink ensemble with a soft mauve eye and lip.

H.E.R.
Her voluminous waves were the stars of this beauty look, paired with the singer’s trademark sunglasses and a deep berry lip.

Cardi B
To compliment her electric blue gown, the rapper added a pop of cobalt to her lower lashline, paired with brown-lined nude lips. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek and elegant low ponytail.

Ella Mai
The singer brought the clean girl aesthetic to the red carpet with her minimal makeup look and expertly laid baby hairs.

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton dialled things up for her Grammys look, opting for a heavy mink-coloured smoky eye and voluminous fluttery lashes, created by Steven Tabimba. Hairstylist Eduardo Ponce gave Paris a playful, slightly undone effect with her top knot and loose tendril hair look and now we are in the throes of a nostalgia overload.

Camila Cabello
We know Cabello’s bra-top took over 40 hours to handmake, but we can’t stop looking at her makeup and hair. The wispy bangs, for one, are going on our mood boards immediately, and the elongated cat-eye is one for the ages.

Gayle
You heard it here first — Gemini hair is set to be one of the biggest hair color trends of 2023! Here, the ‘abcdefu’ singer and first-time nominee blends two dark, complementary tones for a true rock n‘ roll look. She paired it with dark, grunge-style eyeshadow and nude lips.

Anitta
The Latin pop singer served major goth-girl-meets-Jessica-Rabbit vibes with cool copper hair, a smoky eye, and metallic lips.

Kelsea Ballerini
To compliment Ballerini’s bright gown, makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used a light, shimmering nude eyeshadow base and added a shimmering beige and a warm pinkish brown across the lid and up to the brow bone to bring in some warmth.

Adele
Adele was giving old Hollywood glamour at the Grammys via powerfully defined arches, rose gold eye shadow and a slick of her signature feline flick eyeliner. Plus, next time we visit the hair salon, that’s the level of blow dry bounciness we’re dying to recreate.
