With her mother and aunts already established in the beauty space as formidable moguls, nine-year-old North West might soon be following in their footsteps.

Kim Kardashian has, reportedly, filed trademarks for a skincare and toy line under her daughter’s name.

The business-savvy reality show star is planning to secure her children’s future by ensuring they continue the family’s stronghold over celebrity brands.

According to The US Sun, the description for the skincare trademark includes “non-medicated skin preparations, skin moisturisers, skin lotions, skin creams, skin cleansers”, and more. It is also stated that the skincare trademark is planned to expand to body care, cosmetics, and fragrances.

Aside from this, she has filed for three other trademarks, including one for a line of toys. The trademark will include “toy figures, doll accessories, dolls, drawing toys, infant toys, mechanical action toys, play sets for action figures, soft sculpture toys, bath toys” and more.

The celebrity has also filed trademarks for her other three children in similar categories.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is known for their expert ability to monetise their influence and fame in ways that we could never imagine before. This is why it’s not really surprising to see the second generation of Internet celebrities already being set up for being brands in their own right.

While the buzz for a future North West skincare line has already been created, it’s unclear when we’ll actually see the products hit the shelves and fill our Instagram feeds. We’ll keep you posted!
