First there was her Barbiecore updo and now it’s her recent-favourite half-tucked ponytail that is having its time in the limelight. Yup, it’s the same hairdo we all have when we are lazying around at home, but a lot chicer.
She was first spotted in this hairdo during her sister Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics party. Ever since then, Kardashian and her lazy-chic updo have been unstoppable. The best part? This easy-to-recreate hairdo is no longer considered unkempt and lazy. Everyone, say “Thank you, Kim K!”.
Whether it’s for a quick grocery run or a day out with the girls, the half-tucked pony is having an edgy moment and we are loving every second of it. Here’s how you can recreate the look.
Instructions:
Step 1: Start off by adding a good amount of gel and combing your hair backwards to tame all the fly-away hair and creating a clean look. If you prefer to have a middle partition, you could part it that way and pull your hair into a pony that is placed in the middle of your head, not too high nor too low.
Step 2: While tying the pony, loop your hair through the rubber band twice and then when you are going in for the third time, leave your hair half tucked into the pony.
Step 3: Secure it with some bobby pins and hairspray and you’re good to go!
